SpiderMan Friend or Foe

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is a beat-em-up classic side-scrolling game just like the Final Fight by Capcom. The game was released in 2007. This game is a different and unique take on the media franchise according to the company report.

In an opening scene, Spider-Man is beset by enemies of movies: Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman and Venom. He gains the help of New Goblin while fighting the bad guys. The six characters suddenly find themselves targeted by an enemy force and one by one, the villains begin to disappear. Meanwhile, Spider-Man is rescued by Nick Fury of SHIELD, who informs him that the meteor which brought the Venom symbiote to Earth had broken into the Earth’s atmosphere and five more pieces had landed in numerous locations around the world. Fury sends Spider-Man to retrieve the meteorite fragments. Spider-Man quickly discovers that the villains who attacked him and several of his foes, including Rhino and Scorpion, have been placed under mind control of a mysterious villain. The villain also creates and controls holographic soldiers combination / symbiont called ghosts (short for Perpetual Holographic Avatar Nano-Tech Offensive Monsters).

As Spider-Man fight against his enemies one by one and the rescues of mind control, which promise to help you find the villain responsible. As Spider-Man progresses, you get more allies like Black Cat, Iron Fist, Silver Sable, Prowler, Lizard (not portrayed as a villain) and Blade. He discovers that the evil genius is Mysterio (Venom who is referred to as “Bubbleman”), which intends to use his army to conquer the world, with each fragment of the meteorite to make them stronger. Spider-Man decides to temporarily Black Suit for the final battle. Ultimately, Spider-Man defeats him and turns fragments to Fury, who decides to analyze and refers to the study as “Project Carnage”. Although not in the game, Madame Web is mentioned when the computer says it’s here to Nick 4:00 meeting.
